Brazil's nomad residence lasts up to a year and can be renewed for the same period, against 180 days plus one 180-day extension in Argentina. Brazil's nomad resolution has no rule for switching to permanent residence. You file Argentina's nomad permit in person inside Argentina. It needs an Argentine criminal record certificate, and foreign documents must be apostilled or legalized and translated by an Argentine sworn translator. For Brazil, see remote work from São Paulo and retiring in São Paulo.45
