Before work begins
You can cancel and request a full refund before work begins. Your written agreement sets the start date and what the work includes.
After work begins
After work begins, we explain the work delivered and refund the unused portion of the fee, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
For example, if your consultation has already happened, the refund reflects the consultation and anything else already delivered.
How to cancel or ask for a refund
Email hello@settleinlatinamerica.com from the address on your account. Tell us which package you want to cancel. We confirm the cancellation and any refund amount in writing.
We send refunds to the payment method you used where possible, or by another method we agree on with you.
Costs paid to others
Professional fees, government charges, translations, apostilles, rent, deposits, travel, shipping, and insurance are paid to others under their own terms. We cannot refund them, but we can tell you who to contact.
The Plan credit
The Plan credit toward Managed Move comes from a completed Plan payment that has not been refunded. If your Plan payment is refunded, the credit no longer applies.
If we cancel
If we cannot deliver a service, or we end it for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the part we have not delivered. If we cannot support your destination, we tell you before you pay.
Moving a call
To move a confirmed call, message us in My Area or email us. Moving a call does not cancel your package.
Your information after a refund
A refund does not delete your information. It stays in My Area until you ask us to delete it. We keep agreement and payment records for administration and the law.
Your consumer rights
If the law where you live gives you more rights, such as a right to cancel within a set period, those rights apply as well as this policy. Our terms of use and your written agreement contain the full terms.
