Asa Sul has a practical set of school and care addresses to test against a home search. EAB is at SGAS 605, while Hospital de Base and Santa Lúcia Sul provide separate hospital leads. The two apartment examples here are far apart in price and furnishing. Compare the actual block, full charge schedule and journey, rather than treating either listing as the ordinary cost of living in Asa Sul.

Brasnil's SQS 409 apartment advertises US$842 (BRL 4,200) rent, with its billing period unstated.
Coemi's furnished SQS 116 apartment advertises US$3,708 (BRL 18,500) a month and represents a distinct high-end example.
EAB and the hospital leads have specific addresses that should drive the journey test.

Test the actual EAB journey

EAB publishes SGAS 605 Conjunto E, lots 34/37, with +55 61 3442 9700 and admissions@eabdf.br. Get the child's placement and support decision before choosing a home for that journey. The August-to-June calendar and January second semester can affect transfer placement.^5,9,14

British School Brasília is in Lago Sul, rather than Asa Sul. If that is the school you choose, test its separate address and class-specific pickup time.^1,2,3,6

Keep the hospital and primary care routes distinct

Hospital de Base is at SMHS Área Especial Quadra 101, with +55 61 3550 8900. Its page conflicts about general medicine emergency care, so confirm the appropriate unit for that need.^7,11

Santa Lúcia Sul is at SHLS 716 Conjunto C, with +55 61 3445 0000. Its published adult and pediatric emergency services do not establish your private policy's coverage. For routine public care, UBS 1 Asa Sul's registry gives SGAS Quadra 612 and +55 61 3449 4806.^{8,10,12,15,16,17}

Questions people ask

Is the SQS 409 rent explicitly monthly?

No. Brasnil advertises US$842 (BRL 4,200) without a billing period. Its condominium and property tax periods are also unstated. Ask for the complete written schedule.

Does the SQS 409 ad establish a furnished home?

It lists cabinets and other fittings, rather than a full furnished inventory. The SQS 116 Coemi example explicitly says furnished.

Which international school is documented in Asa Sul?

EAB at SGAS 605 Conjunto E, lots 34/37. British School Brasília publishes its separate address in Lago Sul.

Can I assume Hospital de Base offers general medicine emergency care?

Its own emergency description says no, while a later generic table includes it. Confirm the appropriate current unit rather than choosing one side of that contradiction.
