The short answer

The most useful Campo Grande budget starts with a home you can really rent and the trips you would actually pay for. Published figures cover parts of that picture. They do not price your groceries, health cover, school fees, utilities or every entry cost. Keep known amounts beside the missing quotes so a low headline does not become an unrealistic monthly plan.

  • Base rent and full housing cost are different figures.
  • A paid bus-ride example needs explicit assumptions.
  • Virtual-office fees do not buy a daily desk.
  • Keep setup and entry costs outside ordinary monthly spending.

The Colmeia condominium and tax amounts can be converted to dollars because their currency is known. Their unstated period still prevents treating them as monthly budget lines. Keep the original billing question open.1,2,4

Price paid rides, then check integration

The conventional passenger fare is US$0.99 (R$4.95). Two paid rides on each of 22 travel days would cost US$44 (R$217.80). This example assumes 44 separately paid rides. It is a calculation, not a household transport allowance or a promise that every transfer costs another fare.4,5,6

Eligible same-direction integration can make a second ride free within 60 minutes, subject to card and route exclusions. Return travel and the same line do not qualify. The special US$0.40 (R$1.98) fare applies only on specified dates and eligible cards. Do not budget it as the normal daily fare.4,5,7

Price the working arrangement separately

Sedep's basic virtual-office plan is US$34 (R$169.99)/month and includes three private-room hours. It is not an everyday desk subscription. Its one-hour meeting room is US$10.02 (R$49.99) and its one-hour private room US$12.02 (R$59.99). Ask about booking, inclusions and the complete intended-use quote.4,8

A home-working budget also needs the exact address's connection and installation, backup data, cooling and suitable furniture. No complete home-internet or electricity bill is established here. Compare the real room with the actual coworking alternative.9,10

Close the large missing amounts

  1. Before moving

Price travel, temporary accommodation, lease guarantee, insurance, account setup and any furniture separately.

  2. Each month

Obtain the actual housing bill, home internet, utilities, food, care or insurance and child's school quote.

  3. For irregular spending

Allow for medicine, repairs, replacement equipment and occasional taxis through your own actual needs.

  4. Before signing

Check the budget against the trial week and a written quote. Keep exchange fees outside the PTAX comparison.

Dollar comparisons use the Central Bank of Brazil October 9, 2026 PTAX selling quote of R$4.9892 per US$1. Amounts under US$10 retain cents. Other monthly rents and fees round to whole dollars. Hourly room prices and single fares retain cents. Add components in reais before converting. Your exchange rate and fees will differ.4

Questions people ask

Is there a complete monthly budget here?

No. The guide prices selected housing, paid rides and work-room components. Your food, utilities, school, care and entry costs need actual quotes.

What does the 44-ride example assume?

Two separately paid rides on each of 22 travel days, at the conventional US$0.99 (R$4.95) fare. Eligible integration can change the actual paid-ride count.

Can I use the special-date fare every day?

No. The US$0.40 (R$1.98) fare has specified dates and eligible-card rules. It is not the conventional daily fare.

Does the basic virtual-office plan include a full-time desk?

No. Sedep lists a professional address and three private-room hours in that plan. Ask for the actual desk or room arrangement you need.
