The REME portal says urban fundamental-school and full-time-school applications remain available through the school year. It links fundamental enrollment at matriculaonline.campogrande.ms.gov.br and the separate EMEI early-years route at matriculasreme.campogrande.ms.gov.br. Rural-school applicants are directed to the school itself.^1,2

The January 6, 2026 notice opened a new fundamental-school stage on January 8 and described an EMEI window from January 21 to 30. Those are historical 2026 dates, not a future registration calendar. Confirm the current stage and waiting-list route for your arrival.³

The notice says a place becomes guaranteed and valid only after the guardian attends the designated school and signs enrollment physically. It asks for original documents and copies for the child and guardian, proof of address and, from Year 1 onward, prior school records. Ask the receiving school for the complete checklist for your child.³

Do not assume that a passport replaces every CPF field or that a foreign report establishes automatic grade equivalence. Give the child's age, prior grade, school calendar and language experience. Ask about translations, placement, vaccination records and Portuguese support before traveling for enrollment.^2,3
