Bombinhas relocation guide

Days out in Bombinhas

Choose the outing for your group and the conditions.

The short answer

Bombinhas offers a coastal deck walk and a steeper hill trail within the same municipality. They make different demands on the day. The Ribeiro boardwalk links three beaches, while Morro do Macaco has steep and eroded stretches despite its moderate label. Choose around your group's ability, the weather and the return journey. Keep the separate ticketed Eco 360 viewpoint out of the free-trail assumption.

  • The Ribeiro deck is described as about 800 meters.
  • Morro do Macaco is a 2.4-kilometer round trip.
  • Eco 360 is a separate ticketed viewpoint.

Know the park entrance and rules

The municipal park page gives access from Canto Grande on Rua JequitibΓ‘, near the Mar de Dentro jetty. It lists 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, +55 47 3393 9538 and famab@bombinhas.sc.gov.br. Confirm current restrictions before travel.3

The park prohibits domestic pets, vehicles, camping, fires, littering and cutting vegetation. It advises closed shoes and water, avoiding rain and the period after heavy rain, and avoiding the hottest hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.3

Add a beach with its own checks

A walk beside the water and a swim are different decisions. Check the exact IMA sampling point and report date before entering the water. Follow the current conditions and on-site instructions.1

The official beach page prohibits gazebos and tents at Bombas, Bombinhas, Lagoinha and Sepultura. Its domestic-pet prohibition also matters when planning the day. Read the pet rules before bringing an animal.6

Plan the return before setting out

The municipal circuit includes Canto Grande, Mariscal and other peninsula neighborhoods. The times are departures from Canto de Bombas, not trailhead pickup times. The Porto Belo connection has no published weekend service. Confirm your actual return rather than assuming the next bus will fit.4,5,7

Read the route cards and save the emergency numbers before leaving.

Questions people ask

Is Morro do Macaco free?

The official page describes the Morro trail as free. Eco 360 is separately ticketed, so do not treat that viewpoint as included in free trail entry.

How long is the Morro do Macaco route?

The municipality gives a 2.4-kilometer round trip and a moderate classification with steep and eroded sections. It does not establish a walking time for your group.

Is the Ribeiro boardwalk the same as a step-free route from my home?

No. The municipal description says the deck improves accessibility. Inspect the actual approaches, slope and surface that connect it to your home or transport.

Can I depend on the Porto Belo bus for a Saturday outing?

The published intermunicipal cards list Monday through Friday and no weekends. Arrange a separate regional journey for Saturday unless a new service is confirmed.
