Weather in Bombinhas

Use the regional pattern for planning, then check the day.

The short answer

Bombinhas has a warmer summer and a cooler winter in the regional modeled reference below. Rain appears throughout the year, so a move needs more than summer clothing and a beach plan. Use the monthly pattern to ask about the home's cooling, ventilation and damp. For a trail or swim, check current conditions separately. These historical regional estimates are neither a local station record nor a forecast.

  • The reference uses NASA POWER daily data for 1991 to 2020.
  • The native regional grid is larger than a neighborhood.
  • Check current rain and park advice before a trail day.

NASA POWER modeled regional reference, 1991 to 2020. Thirty equally weighted year-specific monthly values. High and low are averages of daily modeled maxima and minima, not record extremes. Rainfall is mean monthly accumulation. Celsius to Fahrenheit comparisons round to whole degrees.

Understand the reference

The series uses 10,958 daily dates and three parameters. For each year, daily high and low temperatures are averaged within each month. Daily precipitation is summed within the month. The 30 values for each calendar month then receive equal weight, before final rounding.3,4,5,6

NASA describes the native MERRA2 meteorological grid as 0.5 degrees of latitude by 0.625 degrees of longitude. The request uses a point near Bombinhas, with local solar time. That point is not a station, a grid boundary or proof of uniform conditions across the peninsula.3,4,5,6

Turn the pattern into home questions

  • Ask how the bedroom and work room feel in both summer and winter.
  • Inspect ventilation, visible damp and the places where rain could enter.
  • Test the air conditioning and ask how its electricity is billed.
  • Check drainage and the actual entrance after asking about previous water entry.

One rental lists air conditioning, but an advertisement cannot establish its condition or the indoor temperature it achieves. Inspect the actual home and read the property bills.1

Keep the day's decision separate

Morro do Macaco's official advice is to avoid rain and the period after heavy rain. It also advises avoiding the hottest hours from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Use current conditions and any closure notice, rather than a monthly average, to choose the day.2

Check swimming reports and emergency contacts before an outing. The climate series does not describe currents, wave conditions or water quality.
