Bombinhas relocation guide
Healthcare in Bombinhas
Know the urgent-care address before you need it.
On this page
The short answer
Bombinhas has a municipal UPA in Bombas and primary-care leads in Centro and Mariscal. Those addresses help you plan a move around actual care rather than a general promise of access. Keep urgent care, routine follow-up and private insurance separate. A registry record can identify a facility and its listed shifts, but it cannot tell you the live queue or confirm your particular specialist.
- The municipality lists the Bombas UPA as open 24 hours.
- Centro and Mariscal records list morning and afternoon shifts.
- Confirm your exact private network before buying a plan.
Keep three local leads handy
| Facility | Published address | Contact or listed hours |
|---|---|---|
| UPA, CNES 0072966 | Avenida Falcão 755, Bombas | +55 47 3240 0950. Municipal page says 24 hours daily. |
| UBS Centro, CNES 2689995 | Rua Salmão 198, Centro | uscentro@bombinhas.sc.gov.br. Registry lists morning and afternoon. |
| UBS Mariscal, CNES 9662995 | Avenida Diamante 100, Mariscal | Registry lists morning and afternoon. No telephone in the selected record. |
Understand the primary-care access rule
Brazil Ministry of Health Technical Note 8/2024 says missing identification, CNS, CPF, proof of address or regular immigration status must not block migrant primary care. Keep that national access guidance distinct from a promise of an immediate specialist visit. Ask the local unit how it handles your follow-up and records.8
Bring your medication list, allergies, previous diagnoses and treatment summaries. Ask how to transfer a repeat prescription or arrange continuing treatment before the supply runs short. For an emergency, Brazil uses 192 for SAMU.9
Check the network and waiting rules
Ask an insurer about the actual plan, local facilities and referral arrangements. ANS gives maximum waiting periods for new or adapted plans of 24 hours for urgency and emergency, 180 days for other care and 300 days for term birth. Coverage segmentation and exceptions matter. A plan brochure alone does not confirm a Bombinhas appointment.6,
- Give the insurer the exact facility and specialty you need.
- Check whether the doctor, hospital and procedure are each in the plan network.
- Ask about existing treatment, waiting periods and authorization.
- Confirm any language support directly with the appointment provider.
Choose the home around ongoing care
If you need regular visits, travel from the actual address to the relevant unit before signing. The free bus circuit is useful only if its departure and boarding point fit your appointment. For a slower move, use the retirement checks to test care and home access together.5
Questions people ask
Where is the 24-hour UPA?
The municipal page lists Avenida Falcão 755 in Bombas and +55 47 3240 0950. It describes service 24 hours daily. That does not establish the live wait or every specialty.
Where can I ask about routine primary care?
UBS Centro is at Rua Salmão 198 and publishes uscentro@bombinhas.sc.gov.br. UBS Mariscal is at Avenida Diamante 100. Ask the relevant unit about your follow-up and current service.
Can missing CPF block migrant primary care?
The Ministry of Health note says missing CPF and the other listed documents must not block migrant primary care. It does not guarantee immediate specialist access or private coverage.
Will a private plan cover the UPA or my doctor?
Check the exact plan network and service with the insurer and provider. The local facility address does not establish private-plan participation, and waiting rules depend on the plan and circumstances.
