Bombinhas relocation guide

Getting around Bombinhas

Free travel helps when the published departure fits your day.

The short answer

Bombinhas publishes a free municipal microbus circuit and a free connection with Porto Belo. Start with those services before deciding how much private transport your move needs. Read the times as departures from the stated origin, rather than arrivals at every neighborhood. The Porto Belo service runs on weekdays. A return-card footnote also needs clarification before you rely on its boarding point.

  • The municipal service needs no ID or preregistration.
  • Local circuit times leave from Canto de Bombas.
  • The published Porto Belo connection has no weekend service.

Use the municipal circuit

The published circuit includes Bombas, José Amândio, Zimbros, Sertãozinho, Morrinhos, Canto Grande, Mariscal, Centro and Quatro Ilhas before returning to Bombas. That list helps you choose a journey to test. It does not establish every boarding point or its arrival time.15

The return card starts its route at the Porto Belo terminal, but its generic footnote repeats Canto de Bombas as the departure point. Confirm the return boarding location with the municipality before making a connection. Do not build a timed onward journey around that unresolved detail.11,12

Treat a car as a separate calculation

The official rate published from January 1, 2026 lists US$8.02 (BRL 40) for a car. That figure does not establish an upcoming 2026/27 season or a monthly charge. Ask Finance about the current collection rule and your exemption category. A lease alone does not approve a vehicle.1,4,7,9,14,17,18

The municipality describes December through March as busier. Test parking and the actual journey when choosing a home. A shorter map distance does not establish a shorter trip during traffic.3,6,8,10,13

Prepare the trips beyond the cards

  • Confirm the boarding point and latest timetable for a critical appointment.
  • Get a separate quote and schedule for any airport or regional trip.
  • Ask the operator about your mobility needs or pet before travel.
  • Keep a backup for the last return and for weekend trips outside the local circuit.

Use service addresses to compare neighborhoods and settle the vehicle paperwork before moving.

Questions people ask

Do I need a card or ID for the free microbus?

The municipality says the free municipal service does not require ID or preregistration. Check the current route card for the journey you plan.

Are the listed times arrivals in Mariscal?

No. The municipal card gives departures from Canto de Bombas. It includes Mariscal on the circuit but does not give a confirmed arrival time there. Traffic can cause delays.

Can I use the Porto Belo connection on Sunday?

The published intermunicipal cards say Monday through Friday and no weekend service. Plan a different regional connection for Sunday unless the municipality confirms a new schedule.

Where does the Porto Belo return leave?

The route heading starts at the Porto Belo terminal. Its generic footnote repeats Canto de Bombas, which conflicts with that heading. Confirm the return boarding location before relying on it.
