Rail, schools and care
La Plata has a Roca service to Plaza Constitución and a separate University Train through faculty stops to Hospital San Juan de Dios. Check the timetable for the actual weekday, weekend or holiday. Local bus fares are not priced here because the current Gran La Plata tariff was not confirmed.7,
Colegio York lists bilingual teaching at central-city campuses. Bosque del Plata and Crisol are in Gonnet, outside the historic center. Hospital San Martín lists emergency and specialist services at Calle 1 and 70. Contact schools and care providers about your own place, treatment and charges.4,
Plaza Moreno and the Bosque
The city's Circuito Fundacional starts at Plaza Moreno, with the cathedral and municipal palace. It follows Avenida 51 past Teatro Argentino, Plaza San Martín and Pasaje Dardo Rocha. The route then continues to the Bosque, Museo La Plata, the lake, observatory and planetarium.21
