Deposits and other costs
Both offers ask for U.S. dollars equivalent to the initial month's rent as a deposit. The agent's conversion rate is not stated. Ask for the exact dollar amount and refund conditions rather than treating the guide's BCRA display as the agreed payment.3,
Fire insurance is additional. ABSA water and shared charges also need confirmation. The furnished apartment lists approximate shared expenses of US$26.37 (ARS 40,000), but their payment date and inclusion in any upfront request must be settled with the agent.3,
Lease documents and service accounts
Axion asks for one Buenos Aires Province property guarantee with two pay stubs, or three pay stubs. Show the agent your proposed documents and ask whether foreign income or a substitute guarantee is accepted.3,
ABSA's name-change procedure asks for identification and occupancy documents, including its specified lease paperwork. A name change and a new connection are different procedures. Ask what applies to the chosen home and which charges you would pay.1
The municipal tenant office can advise before signing. Its office is at Calle 12 No. 872, between 49 and 50. Confirm its posted hours before visiting.6

Axion's listing prints the commission as "$4432.000", which is ambiguous. Ask the agent to correct and confirm that amount before comparing the full moving cost.
