Gigalink publishes urban offers up to 1 Gb at US$18 (R$89.99)/month with Wi-Fi 5 and US$22 (R$109.99)/month with Wi-Fi 6. The stated maximum relates to wired performance. Its page says the final connection can use Ethernet copper or fiber depending on the address. Ask which technology, upload performance and installation date apply to the actual home.1,2

The page states a 12-month commitment, installation conditions and a proportional benefit-and-time charge for early cancellation or reduction. Equipment terms depend on the offer and stock. Request the actual contract and final bill before using the promotional price as your recurring cost.1

Keep the work and residence route aligned

Brazil's CNIg Resolution 45 of 2021 defines the nomad route around remote work for a foreign employer. Article 1 excludes work for an employer in Brazil. Article 5 requires evidence including foreign-source monthly income of at least US$1,500 or bank funds of at least US$18,000. The initial residence period can be up to one year, with renewal conditions. Check the actual application and your work arrangement.5

Federal Police registration is a separate step. The published service gives 90 days after entry for temporary-visa holders and 30 days after publication for an approved residence authorization.
