Belém gives a new resident several useful first outings without building a complicated regional itinerary. Goeldi and Mangal connect the city to its natural setting, while Estação das Docas offers a waterfront stop. Their opening days and concessions differ. Check the current notice before leaving and keep meals, transport and any paid attractions separate from the entry price.
- Goeldi's published regular visiting days run Wednesday to Sunday.

Goeldi for a shorter park visit
The park address is Av. Magalhães Barata 376, São Braz. The museum's visitor page, updated February 24, 2025, gives student half-entry with the required identification. Children under twelve, people over sixty and people with disabilities enter free. Its linked calendar is for 2025, so check current special openings or closures.7
Choose the visit length around the weather and your household. A low admission price does not remove the need for water, rest and a practical return journey.1,
Read the attraction and event limits
Mangal is on Rua Carneiro da Rocha, s/n, Cidade Velha. The operator publishes +55 91 93618-0194. It lists Reserva José Márcio Ayres, Farol de Belém and Memorial Amazônico da Navegação as its three paid monitored spaces. Its age concessions differ from Goeldi. Children under seven and adults over sixty enter those spaces free, and student half-entry requires the student card. Ask the operator about the rest of the park and any attraction closures on your date.4
The Docas October 6 notice gave special hours and music for October 10 and 11, which have passed. It also listed a photography exhibition through October 26. Confirm any dated event you want to attend; keep it separate from the complex's regular hours.5

Can I visit Goeldi on a Monday?
The published regular visiting days are Wednesday to Sunday. Check the museum's current notice for any exceptional opening or closure.
What does the Mangal passport cover?
The operator lists three monitored spaces and a US$4.41 (BRL 22) three-space passport. Ask about the spaces actually operating on your date before buying.
Do the two parks use the same child age concession?
No. Goeldi publishes free entry for children under twelve. Mangal's monitored-space rule uses under seven. Confirm the correct rule for each child and venue.
Is the Docas Círio music program still upcoming?
The program described for October 8 to 11, 2026 has ended. Its regular opening hours and the separately dated exhibition are different information.
