The short answer

A useful Atibaia budget begins with the home you can actually rent. The selected Doms description states US$461 (R$2,300) per month for units from the seventh floor. Atual publishes US$20 (R$99.90) per month for its 300 Mega plan. SOU's page shows a US$0.92 (R$4.60) fare, alongside a historical table ending in 2023. These give a starting comparison, subject to current quotes and the rest of the household's costs.

  • Use a complete quote for the actual home.
  • A partial subtotal is not a household budget.
  • Confirm the fare and accepted integration before travel.
  • Price care, school, food and entry costs separately.

Use a partial calculation without mistaking it for the total

One Doms upper-floor rent plus the advertised 300 Mega plan gives US$481 (R$2,399.90) for an illustrative month. If one adult pays two separate fares on each of twenty-two days, forty-four fares at the displayed price total US$41 (R$202.40). Adding those inputs gives US$522 (R$2,602.30). Each subtotal is calculated in reais before conversion and rounding.1,2,3,4

This illustration excludes condominium, water, IPTU, electricity, food, care, insurance, school, other transport, leisure and entry payments. The bus assumption counts two separately paid fares per day. Eligible card integration can change transfers, while a different journey or fare changes the calculation.1,2,5

Resolve the amounts that could change the decision

Both Ati offers disagree on their water charge. Giglio disagrees on IPTU and does not state rent or condominium billing periods. Get the actual bills and a corrected quote rather than treating the most convenient figure as the final cost. Rent and housing keeps the competing descriptions together.1,6,7

Ask the actual school and receiving care service about your household's costs. Private insurance depends on the selected contract and network, not simply on having a hospital in the municipality. Keep recurring treatment, medicines and any out-of-town appointment travel in the plan.8,9,10

Separate arrival money from ordinary spending

Request the first rent, guarantee, professional fees, moving costs and setup charges in writing. Giglio lists guarantee types without pricing the accepted arrangement. Leave those entry costs separate from the ordinary-month comparison.1,7

During the first stay, record the grocery basket, actual transport and electricity use that fit your routine. Use utilities, remote work and the moving checklist to finish the budget before the longer agreement.2,9,11

Questions people ask

Is the illustrative subtotal a complete monthly budget?

No. It includes one selected upper-floor rent, one advertised internet plan and an assumed forty-four paid fares. Many ordinary and entry costs remain outside it.

Why do some housing amounts have no monthly label?

The full advertisement does not state the billing period. The guide converts known reais currency while preserving that missing information.

Will every bus transfer cost another full fare?

The published integration rule allows qualifying complementary boardings with the SOU card. Confirm the actual journey, fare and card arrangement before budgeting.

What should I price separately before moving?

The complete rental charges and guarantee, care and insurance, actual school, food, electricity, other travel, setup and moving costs.
