Keep border documents and days out separate
SENASA requires an international veterinary certificate or a validated official pet passport for domestic dogs and cats entering Argentina. Ask the issuing authority and carrier to confirm the route and document format before departure.1
For a CVI, the health certificate must fall within ten days before issuance. Antiparasitic treatment has a separate fifteen-day clock before CVI issuance or official passport endorsement. A first rabies vaccination ordinarily needs at least 21 days before entry. Official exceptions and carrier rules need animal-specific checking.1
Faro Querandí's official visitor information prohibits pets. Choose another outing for the animal rather than taking it to the reserve entrance.7
