Arrive at the right terminal

The terminal is on Avenida Circunvalación between Paseos 139 and 145, at Acceso Sur Ciudad de Madariaga. Administration publishes 02255 47-8360. The tourism desk inside lists 02255 47-7253 and weekday hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.^1,2,3,5

Choose the right payment method

National SUBE information includes Villa Gesell's 507 branches. It lists contactless Visa and Mastercard, supported NFC devices and transport QR alongside SUBE. The transport QR is different from an ordinary shop-payment QR. Check your own card or app before relying on it.⁴

Eligible federal social and local discounts remain with physical or digital SUBE. An alternative payment method does not establish discount eligibility.⁴

Check a real return trip

The municipality introduced Android's Cuándo SUBO app in April 2025 for arrival estimates, favorite stops and reminders. Use a live check for the stop and branch you need. Municipal SUBE information lists 02255 45-3155, and Tránsito lists 02255 45-0362.^1,6,7

The March 2026 Nuevo Bus contract notice extended service only through the end of May. Confirm current operations directly before planning October journeys around it.^1,6,7

Connect the address to school hours and care appointments. Ask about child arrangements or pet carriage for the particular vehicle. Keep the fare in your own budget.

Is the bus terminal in the center?

Official tourism places it at the south access, on Circunvalación between Paseos 139 and 145. Plan the onward trip to the actual apartment.

Can I pay with an ordinary merchant QR?

The national notice specifies a transport QR generated in a supported wallet. It says that QR is different from the one used in shops.

Will paying with a bank card keep my SUBE discount?

The national notice says federal social and local discounts remain only with physical or digital SUBE. Eligibility is a separate question.

Does Cuándo SUBO establish the last bus?

The municipal notice describes arrival estimates and stop tools. Confirm the branch's current final departure and the return service you need.
