The short answer
Colegio Informático San Juan de Vera and Saint Patrick College both advertise bilingual education and 2027 admissions in Corrientes. Their different addresses matter when you choose a home. A school website can explain programs, but you still need a place, a fee schedule and a transfer plan for your child. Visit before committing to a long lease.
- Two named schools give you a starting point. Both operators advertise early education, primary and secondary education with English bilingual teaching.
- Check the campus and program. Saint Patrick advertises Cambridge preparation and the IB Diploma. Confirm the current accreditor listing for the exact program.
- Request all fees and available places. No complete tuition quote or guaranteed seat was verified.
- Test the school journey. Compare the trip from a proposed home at the time your child would travel.
Choose the school before narrowing the home search
A school place can change which neighborhood suits your family. Ask about admissions before you pay a housing deposit. The family guide connects school, care and home decisions.
| School | Published address | Advertised education | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| Colegio Informático San Juan de Vera | Fray José de la Quintana 947 | English bilingual early education, primary and secondary; 2027 pre-enrollment | Place in the required year, language support, fees and transfer documents |
| Saint Patrick College | Av. Maipú 3187 | Bilingual early education, primary and secondary; Cambridge preparation and IB Diploma; 2027 admissions | Exact campus and program, current accreditation, available places and all charges |
Colegio Informático San Juan de Vera
The school publishes Fray José de la Quintana 947, Corrientes 3400, and invites 2027 pre-enrollment. Its site describes English bilingual education across early education, primary and secondary levels.2
Ask which subjects use each language in your child's year. If your child is new to Spanish, ask how the school supports that transition and whether support carries an extra charge. Bilingual teaching does not necessarily mean every lesson is in English.
Request the current timetable, admission process and written fee schedule directly from Colegio Informático (opens in a new tab). Pair the campus visit with nearby home viewings rather than choosing a home from a map alone.
Saint Patrick College
Saint Patrick publishes Av. Maipú 3187, telephone +54 379 4447786 and informes@saintpatrick.edu.ar. Its site advertises 2027 admissions, bilingual education, Cambridge preparation and the IB Diploma.3
The operator advertises visits Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Contact it before going. Ask which program applies to your child's age and whether a transfer can begin in the intended term.3
Use the current school website (opens in a new tab) for admission contact details. A listed program does not guarantee a seat, and a planned visit does not reserve one.
Questions for admissions
State your child's year and languages
Describe the current curriculum, age, Spanish and English levels, and intended start date.
Ask about transfer records
Request the school's document list, including any translations or recognition process that applies to your child.
Discuss support needs
Ask about language transition, learning support, accessibility and who will provide each service.
Get fees in writing
Request enrollment, tuition, meals, materials, examinations, transport and any other required charges.
Visit before committing
Inspect classrooms and entrances, meet the relevant staff and travel the route from a proposed home.
Do not assume an international transfer follows the same process as local enrollment. Ask the school about the child's specific records. Keep family residence documents separate from the school's admission decision.
Add school costs and travel to the family plan
Neither school has a complete current fee quote in this guide. Add the written school charges to your family living costs, together with the journey and any extra support. An unpriced tuition line is not free tuition.
Inspect school travel at the actual start and finish times. The bus guide explains the route layer and student SUBE conditions. Confirm eligibility and the useful stops before counting discounted travel.
Check steps, toilets, crossings and the entrance your child would use with the accessibility checklist. For care and vaccination appointments, use the healthcare guide and the school's own requirements.
Questions people ask
Are there English bilingual schools in Corrientes?
Colegio Informático San Juan de Vera and Saint Patrick College both advertise English bilingual education. Ask how much teaching uses each language in your child's year and what support is available for a child learning Spanish.
Where is Colegio Informático San Juan de Vera?
The school publishes Fray José de la Quintana 947, Corrientes 3400. Confirm the entrance and appointment before visiting, then test the journey from any home you are considering.
Where is Saint Patrick College?
The school publishes Av. Maipú 3187 in Corrientes. Contact it at +54 379 4447786 or informes@saintpatrick.edu.ar to discuss admissions and arrange a visit.
Does Saint Patrick offer the IB Diploma?
Its website advertises the IB Diploma. This guide did not complete independent confirmation of the current campus and program listing. Check the accreditor's current directory and ask the school before relying on that program.
How much are school fees in Corrientes?
No complete fee quote was verified for these schools. Request the child's year and all compulsory charges, including enrollment, tuition, materials, examinations and meals. Ask separately about transport and extra support.
Can my child join during the school year?
Ask the school about your child's year, current curriculum and intended start date. The 2027 admission invitations do not guarantee a midyear place or settle an international transfer.
Will the school accept foreign records?
Request the exact transfer-document list from admissions. Explain the country, curriculum and languages of the records. Do not pay for translations or other processing before confirming what that school requires.
Can a child who speaks little Spanish attend?
Discuss the child's level directly with the school. Ask what language support it provides, how progress is assessed and whether support costs extra. A bilingual label alone does not answer those questions.
Should I choose a home before receiving a school place?
Avoid committing to a long lease based on an assumed place. Confirm admissions first where possible, then compare homes and travel at school hours. Keep the deposit and cancellation terms clear.
Are free student bus rides automatic?
No. The municipal SUBE program has enrollment, document and category conditions. Check the current process for your child before using discounted journeys in the family budget.
