Belo Horizonte transport works best when you price and test the complete journey. Metro, structural bus and airport routes have different fares and access. Amazonas station also has a current weekday restriction. Begin with the actual home, stop and destination, then check the return and any paid connection at the times you will use.

Check the station and operating day

Metrô BH gives general daily hours of 5:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. Its September 30, 2026 Amazonas notice is more specific. Commercial operation starts October 1 on weekdays during those hours, with weekends and holidays temporarily closed. November 1 full service is planned, not yet established on this guide's check date.1,4

The operator's works page identifies Nova Suíça and Amazonas as the first Line 2 stations opened in July 2026. The further Barreiro, Ferrugem, Vista Alegre, Nova Cintra and Nova Gameleira stations are planned for 2028. Do not choose a current commute around those future stations.5

The metro page lists Bipay QR purchasing, contactless payment and cash at ticket booths. Ask about the exact ticket and any integration before boarding. Station access and working accessible equipment need the actual operator on the day.1

The executive route page publishes different weekday, Saturday and Sunday departures. Its weekday departures from Confins run from noon to 8:45 p.m. in the displayed table. Check the complete current timetable against the flight before relying on this service, particularly for an early arrival.7

Try the real return before the lease
