Ask about the transfer itself
Tell the school your child's age, current grade and country of previous schooling. Ask which records need translation or legalization, how the school places a transferring student and whether it offers language support. Get the start date and shift in writing. The register does not establish an English-medium curriculum, current fees or the support available for a particular child.5
Walk the route together
The registered addresses include Centro, Escalinata and Villa Las Rosas. Try the actual route with your child at the times you would use it. Check steps, crossings, the pickup point and what changes in rain. At home, test the bedroom temperature and hot water in the evening. Ask the owner about celebration noise if sleep or school attendance would be affected.1,
Arrange family care and outings
Ask Hospital Salvador Mazza how it handles your child's ongoing care and referrals. Confirm insurance and the charging rule for each family member's immigration status. For an outing, UBA lists free Pucará entry for children up to age 12 with the required documentation. It also suspends the visit in rain, so keep another plan for that day.2,

Does Tilcara have registered primary schools?
Yes. The September 2026 register includes Escuela 7, Casanova primary and Tierra del Sol within locality Tilcara.
Are Casanova primary and secondary at the same address?
No. The register lists primary on Lavalle and secondary on Avenida Sarahuaico in Villa Las Rosas. Confirm the entrance for the grade.
Is the new Bachillerato 25 building finished?
The September 4, 2026 ministry notice described a retendering process. It does not establish a completed building.
Are these confirmed international schools?
No. The register identifies local schools and their offers. It does not establish an international curriculum or English-medium teaching.
Can children visit the Pucará free?
UBA lists free admission for children up to age 12 and asks for accreditation and DNI. Ask which proof it accepts for your child.
