How should you choose a Mendoza area?

The polygons come from Mendoza's own municipal ArcGIS service. Geographic centers use the area-weighted shoelace calculation. Centro stays a point at Plaza Independencia. No street or tram geometry was inferred.1,
Six areas to investigate
Centro
Use the five-plaza system and the pedestrian Sarmiento route as orientation. An apartment described as central still needs an exact address.
Primera Sección
The city documented a café near Anexo MMAMM at Parque Central in December 2025. That locates an activity anchor, without establishing a 2026 café price or future schedule.
Segunda Sección
The official Second Section is Barrio Cívico. Confirm the full street address and Capital municipality before comparing a home with a nearby metropolitan listing.
Cuarta Sección
The municipal geometry gives separate east and west Fourth Section polygons. The older city area and a specific residential address are different levels of detail.
Quinta Sección
DGE places San Andrés school at J. V. González 630 in the Fifth Section. A September 2024 municipal maintenance notice names a work area from Belgrano to Boulogne Sur Mer and Emilio Civit to Arístides. That work area is not the entire legal section boundary.
Sexta Sección
A 2024 municipal notice locates Plazoleta Constituyentes at Italia, Vucetich and César Céspedes. It announced works, without proving their completion or current facilities. The official section polygon provides the geographic boundary.
The Primera Sección guide focuses on Parque Central. The Segunda Sección guide explains Barrio Cívico and municipality checking. The Cuarta Sección guide keeps east and west divisions explicit.

The western sections include Residencial Parque, Aeroparque, Parque General San Martín, Residencial Los Cerros, San Agustín and Piedemonte. These remain on the municipal map even though this bundle does not create separate housing pages for each.4
Why are the areas unscored?
InmoUp publishes Capital and nearby municipality asking means, but no comparable current section series was retained. The Roomix First Section result reports insufficient rental data. That is a gap, not a zero-price neighborhood.2,
No representative section-level safety, quietness or acceptance survey was verified. Those fields stay absent. A numerical matcher would create precision that the evidence does not support.

The best choice depends on the actual destinations and property. Six guides provide factual orientation without invented numerical rankings.
Is Centro an official section?
No. It is a practical central-plaza label. The municipality uses 12 numbered sections.
What is Primera Sección called officially?
The official First Section is Parque Central. Use the municipal geometry for the boundary.
Does Cuarta Sección have two parts?
Yes. The current municipal geometry labels Cuarta Oeste and Cuarta Este Área Fundacional separately.
Are Godoy Cruz and Guaymallén Capital neighborhoods?
No. They are separate municipalities in the metropolitan area. Keep rent and service addresses separately labeled.
Why are all six areas excluded from numerical matching?
No comparable section rent or representative lifestyle and risk series was retained. Scores would create unsupported precision.
Does insufficient Roomix rental data mean rent is zero?
No. It means the source cannot provide a usable rental figure. The guide records the gap rather than turning it into a price.
How does the map obtain neighborhood boundaries?
It uses official municipal section polygons. Centro has no invented polygon and remains a Plaza Independencia point.
Should families choose an area before choosing a school?
A confirmed campus and tested school journey give a stronger housing basis. Check the exact municipality and property before signing.
