Reserva publishes a fixed pet fee of US$30 (R$150), without a clear billing period. Confirm the room, animal, charge frequency and any cleaning terms in the reservation. General hotel permission does not override the suite's specific prohibition.3,
Plan the national entry process
For ordinary dog and cat entry, MAPA requires an official International Veterinary Certificate, or an official passport meeting Brazil's requirements. The Portaria MAPA 741/2024 certificate model became mandatory on September 6, 2025. Your official veterinarian should establish the applicable documents and timing.1,

Ask about current local veterinary arrangements
A November 10, 2025 municipal notice announced a later neutering event and gave Zoonoses contact +55 12 3662 2998. It required advance registration and adult identity and address documents. Use that contact to ask about today's program, rather than assume the historical event is still open.6
Arrange a routine veterinarian and an emergency option before you need either. The municipal notice does not establish a full veterinary emergency service. Discuss medication and any fasting instructions with the treating veterinarian.6

Do the two Akios rentals allow a dog?
No. A5829 and A7235 explicitly prohibit pets. Seek another home with written permission for your animal.
Does Reserva Campos allow pets in every suite?
No. Its general policy has size and breed restrictions, and the Suíte Retrô Vista Montanhas com Banheira explicitly prohibits pets. Confirm the exact reservation.
Can I take my pet to Horto Florestal?
The state park's ticket page says pets are prohibited. Do not plan entry with an ordinary pet.
