Build Villa Traful travel around the trip you need on the date you need it. Check RP65 conditions, confirm the accommodation entrance and arrange the return from an appointment or arrival point. La Araucana provides a useful operator contact, but its linked numeric schedules expire in 2018. Ask directly before making a connection depend on them.

Consult the latest road report

The provincial road authority's route-report channel is dpvneuquen.gov.ar. A provincial August 22, 2025 notice also gives 2942 572138 for inquiries. Read the newest dated report for your actual route and confirm access with the accommodation before traveling. Do not use that old notice's weather closures as today's conditions.1

A September 29, 2026 provincial report said RP65 work would continue after the winter work restriction was lifted. It does not say every section is paved or open without delay. Ask about the section you will use, current restrictions and the entrance to the home.2

Use La Araucana as an inquiry lead

La Araucana's Seven Lakes route page describes San Martín de los Andes, Villa Traful and Villa La Angostura. It places the Traful pickup on RP65 beside the police station. Published inquiry contacts include 02972 420285 and info@araucana.com.ar. Confirm the actual boarding point, date, fare, baggage and last useful return.3

Both linked numeric timetables are dated to 2018 and expire December 31 of that year. They cannot supply a current departure time or frequency. Ask the operator for the current service before paying for a connection or choosing a bus-dependent home.4,5

    Ask the chosen operator about the pickup, destination, luggage and price.

    Read the newest route report and ask the accommodation about the approach.

    Confirm the trip out before making an appointment or onward booking depend on it.

Traful Extremo says its boat excursions leave from Traful and that it does not provide transfers from Bariloche, Villa La Angostura or San Martín de los Andes. Arrange the road journey separately from the lake booking.7

Try the trip from the actual entrance

The central Las Terrazas duplex and the Barrio Alto apartment both lack parking and involve stairs or slopes. Ask where a vehicle can stop, then walk from there with bags. Check lighting, wet-weather access and the return after dark.6,8

For a school or regular care trip, try both directions at the useful time. Ask the destination how a late arrival or changed pickup is handled. Keep home location and healthcare with that plan.9,10

Can I use La Araucana's linked departure times?

The linked numeric schedules explicitly expire in 2018. Ask the operator for your actual date, stop, fare and return before relying on a service.

Is RP65 paving complete?

The September 2026 source describes continuing work. It does not prove complete paving or current passability. Check the latest route report.

Will a Traful Extremo booking collect me in another town?

Its FAQ says it does not provide transfers from Bariloche, Villa La Angostura or San Martín de los Andes. Arrange the road journey separately.
