Villa General Belgrano relocation guide
Days Out in Villa General Belgrano
Start with the stream circuit. Treat the hill as a separate outing.

The short answer
The stream circuit offers a way to explore near the town center, while Cerro de la Virgen asks for a much more demanding climb. The official tourism pages describe both clearly enough to choose an initial outing. Check current conditions before leaving and ask about dated departures for guided walks. A high-season program is not a booking for the day you arrive.
- Paseo de los Arroyos runs beside three streams near the center.
- Cerro de la Virgen is a high-difficulty route with a published 2,744-meter return distance.
- Camino al Andar is advertised for high season, with limited spaces and advance signup.
Walk from the center to the water
Official tourism places the stream circuit two blocks from the center. From Plaza José Hernández, follow Avenida Ojo de Agua toward the bridge access. The circuit follows El Molle, El Sauce and La Toma, with a published complete-walk estimate of about an hour.4
Use the circuit to explore the setting around possible home locations. For a stroller or mobility need, inspect the actual surface and access rather than relying on the easy-route description. Family planning covers the home side of the same decision.
Prepare for Cerro de la Virgen
The dedicated tourism page gives a 1,372-meter ascent route and 2,744-meter return, with slopes up to 30 degrees. Its entrance is on Ruta Provincial 5, about 300 meters south of the central entry, beside Shell. Bring water and grip footwear, and descend in daylight.3
Plan the outward and return trip and keep emergency contacts available. The published ascent time is an estimate, not your group's guaranteed pace.3
Ask about a dated activity
Camino al Andar describes high-season hill walks, Pozo Verde visits, city tours and bird walks, with limited spaces and advance signup through tourism at 03546 510006. Ask which activity actually runs on your date.2
For a regular local activity, the municipal Escuela de Artes publishes 03546 462547 and WhatsApp +54 9 3546 490333. Casa del Bicentenario gives 03546 464616. Ask for current workshops or events; the old 2020/2021 artist registration is not a current calendar.1
Keep activity quotes separate in your budget. If an outing affects a workday, check your meeting schedule first.
