The short answer

Villa General Belgrano has public and private school options, including Colegio Alemán's substantial German program. Its own descriptions identify specific subjects taught in German and English examination options. That is useful detail for a child's transition, but it does not establish an international curriculum or a place. Contact the intended stage before choosing a home or assuming the campus address.

  • Colegio Alemán publishes German from kindergarten through secondary school.
  • The school names specific German-medium subjects in fifth and sixth primary grades.
  • The national directory provides additional public and private contacts, with no admission guarantee.

What Colegio Alemán describes

The school publishes German learning from kindergarten to secondary graduation. It names an internal A1 examination in sixth primary grade, IVA A2 in second secondary year, DSD I A2/B1 from fourth year and DSD II B2/C1 in sixth year. These describe its pathway, not a promised result for a new student.1

Music in fifth grade, culture and civilization in fifth and sixth, and media in sixth are described as German-medium subjects. They form part of a mandatory second part of the school day. The English department describes Pearson and Anglia examination opportunities. Ask how a child entering without German or Spanish will be supported.1

For household planning, read moving with children and costs alongside the school's current fee and timetable quote.

Ask the stage-specific questions

Contact secretaria@colegioalemanvgb.edu.ar or 03546 461366. Secretary hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday until 3:30 p.m. Those are office hours, not student hours.2,3

Use the moving checklist for documents and healthcare for any child-specific medical arrangements.

Questions people ask

Is Colegio Alemán an English-medium international school?

Its published description establishes German learning, specific German-medium subjects and English examination opportunities. It does not establish whole-school English-medium teaching or an international curriculum.

Does the school run its own Germany exchange?

The language page explicitly says it has no own exchange program. It describes a separate teacher-run option outside the school's own organization and responsibility.

Where is Colegio Alemán's secondary campus?

Ask the school. Its contact page gives Los Incas 131, while the national secondary record gives La Tablada at Hotel Edelweiss. Do not assume the two records identify one campus.

Are the secretary hours the school day?

No. They describe when the secretary attends inquiries. Ask the intended stage for its student timetable and mandatory second-part commitments.
