Salta relocation guide

Cost of living in Salta | Prices and missing costs

The normal SAETA fare and Nubicom monthly prices give two starting figures. Housing currency, bills, food, care and school still need your own quotes.

The short answer

SAETA lists the normal fare at US$0.96 (ARS 1,450). Nubicom advertises a Salta 200 Megas plan at US$11.10 a month, or US$9.99 with automatic debit. These figures cover different purchases, and the internet bill uses the operator's BNA conversion. Get a written rental offer and recent home bills before deciding how much income your household needs.

  • Keep individual prices and total spending separate.
  • Confirm rent currency and complete home bills.
  • Add food, care, school and your own travel.

Questions people ask

Why is there no complete monthly total?

The selected rental prices still need a named currency and explicit monthly period. Home bills, food, care and school are also unpriced. Add your own written quotes before judging affordability.

Can I use the BCRA rate to predict my Nubicom bill?

Nubicom states a BNA conversion. Its standard contract also allows an exchange-rate difference between invoice and payment. Ask for the peso amount and applicable date on your quote.

How can I check whether I qualify for the social bus fare?

SAETA lists a social fare, but that does not confirm your eligibility. Ask the operator which documents, card and conditions apply to you.
