Mina Clavero relocation guide
Moving to Mina Clavero checklist
Mina Clavero rentals, utility transfers and care arrangements involve separate commitments. Settle the actual home and daily routine alongside national entry and residence documents.

The short answer
The MT Realty offers give monthly rent and layouts, while CLEMiC publishes specific electricity transfer and connection procedures. MAX.NET requires an address check for internet. Arrange those home details together with the school, university or healthcare service you need. National residence, qualifying visitor-driving and pet documents require their own checks.
- Ask for the lease dates, full initial quote, adjustments and accepted guarantees before paying.
- Check the actual electricity and water accounts, recent bills and installation tasks.
- Confirm internet at the address, then test your calls and regular journey.
- Keep SENASA's health-certificate and parasite-treatment timing rules separate.
Settle the home and daily commitments first
Housing and accounts
Before signing, review the written lease with the agent, including its term, rent adjustments, inventory, service charges and payment schedule. Ask about the deposit, agency fee, guarantee, cancellation, repairs and pets. Neither rental advertisement gives the complete initial payment or occupancy period.7,
Check the actual meter, account holder and recent bills. CLEMiC account transfer is different from a new connection. Ask the water cooperative and internet provider about the chosen home, with the owner's help where needed.1,
Study, care and travel
Ask UPC which building and intake your program uses. Arrange the actual school or childcare place for younger children. For care, contact the municipal center or CLEMiC plan about the services, identity documents, residence-category access and costs that apply to you.2,
Try your regular outward and return journey. Get the actual regional bus fare and departure for the date you need. The terminal ticket-office hours alone cannot price or time that journey.12,
National driving and pet documents
National visitor guidance gives international permits under the Inter-American Convention one year from issuance. National licenses from Geneva or Vienna contracting states have a maximum of one year from entry. Check the document, nationality and visitor-status requirements, then confirm local and rental-company acceptance. Residents must check licensing separately.5,
SENASA requires the health certificate within 10 days before international veterinary certificate, or CVI, issuance. Internal and external parasite treatment must occur within 15 days before CVI issuance or official passport endorsement. The passport alternative does not change the CVI-only health-certificate clock.14
A first rabies vaccination requires at least 21 days before entry. The stated CVI travel validity is 60 days while rabies vaccination remains valid. An ordinary vaccination booklet is not an officially endorsed pet passport. Coordinate the exact journey with the exporting authority and carrier, and ask the landlord about pets.7,
Questions people ask
Which housing details should I settle before paying?
Confirm the exact unit, availability, occupancy dates, adjustments, full charges, guarantees and deposit-return conditions. Review the written lease with the agent.
Should I request a new electricity connection automatically?
No. Ask what the existing home needs. CLEMiC publishes separate account-transfer and new-connection requirements.
When does my pet need the health certificate?
SENASA requires it within 10 days before CVI issuance. Coordinate the examination and certificate with the authority issuing that document.
When must parasite treatment take place?
Internal and external treatment must fall within 15 days before CVI issuance or official passport endorsement. This is separate from the CVI-only health-certificate rule.
Can I rely on the visitor driving rule after becoming a resident?
Check resident licensing separately. The national guidance describes qualifying visitor documents and does not settle every resident's license.
