Cooperativa 16 de Octubre publishes Esquel electricity, water, sewer and lighting charges. Its net electricity illustration for an assumed 200 kWh is US$38.14 (ARS 57,852.20), before capital contributions, taxes and levies. Camuzzi publishes gas tariffs separately. Request the selected home's actual bills and account details rather than treating these components as a complete monthly cost.
- Electricity charges apply from September 1, 2026 consumption. Water and sewer use August 1 due dates.
- The schedule adds a 10 percent capital contribution on fixed and consumption charges for the four cooperative services.
- NEXT advertises wireless broadband. The router price does not include the full connection or subscription.

Do not apply a metered base to an unmetered property without checking. Ask which services appear on the account, who pays them and whether any balance remains from an earlier occupant.4,
Gas and winter heating
Camuzzi links an October 1, 2026 Gas del Sur tariff schedule. Separate rates cover different supply zones and customer categories. Ask Camuzzi which rate and subsidy apply to the Esquel home you are considering.5,
Get the actual account details and recent winter bills from the landlord. Inspect the heating and hot-water system, and ask who handles maintenance or equipment problems. The airport's July average daily low is -2.4°C (27.7°F).1,
Connections and home internet
The cooperative asks for a title or a lease that expressly authorizes the electricity account, property details and declared power. Municipal documents and a Camuzzi interference check can apply to underground service. New members are asked for DNI.6
Ask the cooperative about documents for your residence category before assuming a passport is enough. Get any connection charge and outstanding balance in writing.6

Questions people ask
What does the 200 kWh example include?
It includes one net monthly fixed electricity charge plus 200 kWh of energy in the unsubsidized residential member band. Capital contributions, taxes, levies and every other service are excluded.
Does the cooperative add a capital contribution?
Yes. The tariff schedule adds 10 percent on fixed and consumption charges for electricity, water, sewer and lighting. Taxes and levies have separate treatment, so do not assume a single flat percentage covers everything.
Can I use the water base for any rental?
Check the account first. US$17.70 (ARS 26,844.73) monthly is the metered residential member base through 25 m³, before other charges. Unmetered properties use a different table.
Which bills should I request before signing?
Ask for recent winter and summer bills for the actual home, including gas and all cooperative services. Confirm the account category, consumption, taxes, contributions and any outstanding balance.
What does the electricity connection require?
The cooperative lists property documents, declared power and a title or lease expressly authorizing the account. Other documents depend on the installation. Ask about your identity documents and all charges before applying.
How much will NEXT installation cost?
A complete setup total is not quoted here. NEXT gives a US$25.05 (ARS 38,000) router price and says installation plus the first proportional subscription are payable at installation. Request every charge together.
