Start with the existing water account
The water cooperative lists Poeta Agüero 760, weekday office hours 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 2656 407522 for 24-hour contact. Its daytime WhatsApp is 2656 407545, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Confirm the account number and describe the actual problem or procedure.1,
Published ownership-transfer requirements include DNI, title or purchase agreement and the last paid bill. A renter should agree account responsibility with the owner and cooperative. New domestic connection instructions separately require property and plan documents. Neither process proves that every renter must transfer an account.1
The one-bedroom Chumamaya offer describes independent water and electricity meters. Unit 3 instead describes individual electricity and proportional shared water and municipal charges. Ask for meter readings, the allocation method, recent bills and how a dispute is resolved.2,
Read the water declaration at its actual scope
Villa de Merlo Decree 43-IM-2026, Article 1, declared a municipal water pre-emergency, alerta amarilla. The July 29 decree appeared in the August 28 municipal bulletin. Article 17 provides for technical reports recommending continuation, escalation or cessation. Ask the municipality about the current status and applicable measures.3
Articles 2 and 7 address new development presentations and technical feasibility. The decree includes exceptions and project-specific conditions. It does not establish that every occupied rental loses supply or needs a new tank. If buying land, building or changing use, obtain the current municipal and cooperative feasibility position for that project.3
For an existing home, inspect running taps, storage if present, pump dependence and the owner's account of interruptions. Ask what happens during a power loss and who maintains the equipment. Do not treat the declaration as a water-quality test.1
