Healthcare in Maipú | Contacts, Access and Payment

Hospital and municipal directories identify local care contacts. Ask the provider about the treatment, documents and payment for your circumstances.

The short answer

MendoTran lists Hospital Diego Paroissien in Ciudad Maipú. The municipal directory also names Maugeri and Malcayaes health centers. These references help locate a provider to contact. They do not tell you whether the treatment you need is available now or how your particular visit will be billed.

  • Confirm the treatment and appointment entrance.
  • Explain your residence category and coverage.
  • Keep emergency access separate from later billing.

Mendoza access and payment rules

Mendoza Decree 1266/2024 Article 19 gives permanent and temporary foreign residents the same access conditions as Argentine residents. It provides free access when uninsured and recovery from insurers when covered. Confirm how the provider applies your documents and coverage.1,2

Law 9535 Article 19's second paragraph concerns foreign nonresidents with public or private coverage in their origin country. Decree 1266/2024 Article 19 names transitory and precaria categories in that context, with payment and receipts for reimbursement by the origin insurer. This wording alone does not settle every uninsured visitor's bill.1,2

Article 19 says urgent and emergency care cannot be denied regardless of migration category. That access protection does not make every later service free. Ask about routine care and billing separately.2

Questions for the provider

  • Can the provider supply your treatment and medication?
  • Which documents, coverage details and appointment steps apply?
  • What charges, receipts and reimbursement arrangements apply?
  • Which entrance, transport and assistance should you use?

Questions people ask

How do I arrange a medical visit in Maipú?

Contact the provider to confirm the treatment, registration, documents, appointment and payment. Check the entrance and journey before visiting.

Can emergency care be denied because of migration category?

Mendoza Decree 1266/2024 Article 19 says urgent and emergency care cannot be denied on that basis. Later treatment and billing remain separate questions.

How should an uninsured visitor check possible charges?

Ask the provider about your residence documents, coverage and treatment. The payment and reimbursement provision concerns foreign nonresidents with origin-country coverage. It does not answer every uninsured visitor case.
