El Bolsón relocation guide

Gas, electricity and water in El Bolsón

Coopetel publishes October gas-cylinder prices. The home's heating system, service connections and shared bills determine what you will actually pay.

The short answer

Coopetel lists October 2026 cylinder prices of US$20 (ARS 30,000) for 10 kg, US$30 (ARS 45,000) for 15 kg and US$73 (ARS 110,000) for 45 kg. Those are purchase prices, not a monthly heating estimate. The Río Azul monthly rentals charge services separately, so ask which supplies the home uses and request recent bills before comparing its total cost.

  • October cylinder prices are separate from delivery questions and the home's rate of use.
  • The two monthly Río Azul rentals exclude utility services from rent.
  • The central two-bedroom offer describes shared services and a shared patio.
  • A July gas-extension announcement is a planned works report, not confirmation that a selected home is connected.

These prices apply at Coopetel's El Bolsón gas plant and shops with agreed prices. Ask about delivery separately. Dollar comparisons use the October 9, 2026 BCRA quote of US$1 to ARS 1,517. Rents and larger charges round to whole dollars. Small amounts retain cents.

Coopetel lists 2944 924405 for cylinder delivery inquiries and 0800 2224271 as its gas emergency line. Its October 6 report says commercial cylinder sales continue in El Bolsón and Bariloche from October.4,10

What the rental price leaves out

The two-year Río Azul studio lease charges utility services separately. The two-bedroom house explicitly separates water, electricity, natural gas and sewer charges from rent. Ask which accounts you would pay and whether the readings can be checked when you move in.5,9

The central two-bedroom advertisement describes installed shared services charged separately. Ask how bills are divided, which meters are separate and how you will see each charge. Its advertised rent also needs a confirmed billing period.7

Inspect the home in the season you will use it

  • Ask what heats each room and whether the equipment works.
  • Request recent electricity, water and heating bills from that home.
  • Inspect insulation, moisture, ventilation and the condition of doors and windows.
  • Ask how shared supplies and repairs are handled.
  • Confirm the cylinder delivery or gas service available at the address.

A gas extension does not confirm a home's connection

A July 2, 2026 provincial works report described a natural-gas extension tender for 80 Luján households and about 4,700 meters of pipe. Ask the owner and supplier about the actual property. The tender announcement is not a completed connection certificate.6

Internet has its own setup and recurring charges

Coopetel's fiber page displays May 2026 prices, mandatory monthly CAMIN and a separate connection fee. Ask for a current itemized quote and a confirmed installation date. The remote-work guide explains the plan, property documents and address conditions.8

Questions people ask

What does a 10 kg gas cylinder cost?

Coopetel's October 2026 price is US$20 (ARS 30,000). Ask about the applicable delivery or purchase charge when ordering.

Who can I contact about cylinder delivery?

Coopetel lists 2944 924405 for delivery inquiries. Its separate gas emergency number is 0800 2224271.

Are utility services included in the Río Azul monthly rents?

The two monthly examples charge them separately. The two-bedroom house names water, electricity, natural gas and sewer services outside rent.

How are the central home's shared bills divided?

The listing does not give a complete allocation method. Ask the agent or owner for the meters, calculation and payment arrangements before agreeing to the lease.

How much should I budget for winter heating?

A home-specific amount is not available. Request recent bills and inspect the equipment and insulation. A cylinder price and airport climate average do not answer that question.

How can I check whether a Luján rental has a gas connection?

Check the actual address with the owner and supplier. The July report describes a tender and planned extension, not a connection at every home.
