Keep municipal support in perspective
The July 30, 2026 Castra Pet notice prioritizes CadÚnico households and rescuers. It said general registration would reopen and described a waiting list. That notice does not establish an available appointment now. Semam lists 47 3267-7080 for contact.2

Can my dog go onto the beach sand?
The January 2026 municipal explanation says animals are prohibited on beaches except guide dogs. It distinguishes specific pier and event-structure permissions from the sand.
Does the guide-dog exception establish permission for every assistance animal?
No. The municipal notice specifically names guide dogs. Do not extend that wording to other animals by assumption.
Is free Castra Pet registration open now?
