Alter do Chão relocation guide
Utilities in Alter do Chão
Trace the water and electricity at the home. A new district project or advertised artesian well does not settle the unit's actual supply and bills.
- New water-system report
- March 2026
- Preparations before operation, verify the actual home
- Apartment water feature
- Artesian well advertised
- Ask about testing, treatment and maintenance

The short answer
Inspect utilities before agreeing that an Alter do Chão rental is ready for a longer stay. Ask how water reaches the home, where it is stored and who maintains the pump or shared system. Run the cooling and request recent electricity bills. Then agree which accounts and charges belong to you. Keep the actual home arrangements separate from plans for a new district water system.
- Identify the home's actual water source and storage.
- The March 2026 project report still preceded operation.
- An advertised well does not establish drinking-water quality.
- Confirm electricity and internet charges at handover.
Our take
Ask what supplies this home today
Cosanpa's February 12, 2026 community report described the final construction phase and preparations before official delivery. The March 17 report still described adjustments before operation. Those dated reports do not establish that the new system has reached your rental or replaced its existing supply.1,
Ask the owner to identify the present water source, meter or shared charge, storage, pump and treatment arrangements. Request recent bills and a maintenance contact. If a new connection is promised, ask the responsible provider to confirm the actual address and commissioning status.1
The Alter Ville advertisement names an artesian well. That is a property feature, rather than proof of water quality or uninterrupted service. Ask how the building manages testing, treatment, storage and outages, and settle any household drinking-water questions with an appropriate local professional.3
Read the electricity bill before choosing the rent
The selected apartment advertises air conditioning. Check the actual unit, cooling in the sleeping and working rooms, sockets and recent bills. Ask whether electricity is included, separately metered or divided through a shared charge. Agree how readings and outstanding charges will be handled at handover.3
Use the provider named on the home's recent electricity bill for account changes and reporting. Confirm the documents and any installation or reconnection with that provider. A rental feature list does not price the household's electricity or establish outage frequency.3
Settle the connection separately
Amazonet's website lists Alter do Chão in its Pará coverage but also contains Manaus-only wording. Ask the Pará contact, (93) 3017-6868, to confirm the exact home. Keep installation, equipment, complete charge and cancellation in writing.4
Test your working connection and a backup using the remote-work guide. Read rent before treating an asking rent as an all-inclusive bill.3,
