Villa Carlos Paz relocation guide
Things to do from Villa Carlos Paz
Start with the lakefront, then choose the effort and conditions.

The short answer
Villa Carlos Paz offers several different kinds of day out. Paseo Costanera gives you a waterfront starting point. Estancia La Quinta adds trails and local history, while Cerro La Cruz asks for a hill walk. Quebrada del Condorito belongs in a separate mountain plan with registration and road checks. Choose the route for the household rather than treating every viewpoint as an easy stroll.
- Costanera and Estancia La Quinta are distinct local choices.
- Cerro La Cruz walking access is separate from the chairlift.
- Quebrada del Condorito needs registration and a current conditions check.
Three local outings
| Place | Published description | Plan around |
|---|---|---|
| Paseo Costanera | Lakefront pedestrian and vehicle sections, exercise equipment, play areas and skatepark. | The exact path, crossings and current water notices. |
| Parque Estancia La Quinta | Los Carolinos, beside San Antonio River, interpretive trails and Museo Numba Charava. Entrances via Av. Asunción and Los Zorzales. | Published free entry. Confirm museum hours and the route, which has ups and downs from the center. |
| Cerro La Cruz | Published 2.2 km walk over seven hills to the cross. | Walking access is published free. Confirm conditions and any guided ascent. Chairlift admission is separate. |
The 2026 directory gives Estancia La Quinta 03541 436426 and Cerro La Cruz 03541 15 591936. Tourism publishes 03541 421624, visitor line 0810 8882729 and messages-only WhatsApp +54 9 3541 528822.3,
A separate Quebrada del Condorito plan
The park office is in town at Av. J.S. Bach 504, corner Drago, Costa Azul. APN lists Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., 03541 532153 and quebradadelcondorito@apn.gob.ar. This is the administration office, not the trail entrance.1,
Published northeast-sector conditions require registration, entry from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and closure at 6 p.m. Bring the required closed ankle-covering nonslip footwear, at least 2 liters of drinking water per person and your own food. Pets, fire, drones and swimming are prohibited. Balcón Sur requires an authorized trekking guide who registers the group.1,
Confirm current opening, RP34 conditions and any applicable admission charge directly before leaving. Do not rely on an older tourism statement as a current tariff decision.
Make the outing fit the household
Use the route questions and the family routine to choose the effort. Check animal restrictions and current notices, then arrange the return. A trial home is a useful base for testing which outings fit ordinary life.
