The municipal service lists a birth certificate, parent or guardian identification, income proof and address proof updated within 90 days. Ask SEMED how foreign birth and school records, translations and your actual family documents should be handled.¹

The September 24 notice required waiting-list recadastro by October 9, 2026. It covered families seeking CEI and EBM places and required updated family, address, work and income information. The call still depends on available places and system criteria. That deadline is now past. Ask the school what to do with your actual application.²

School transfers and shift changes were excluded from that recadastro. The notice says their update occurs during rematrícula. Do not put a transfer request into the wrong process.²

Ask about the actual shift, language support, meals, uniforms, transport and any additional support your child needs. Check the journey at arrival and collection times.
